In January 1992, Geraldine and Richard De Welles traveled to Glastonbury in Somerset. This had been a yearly pilgrimage for eight years. As usual, they stayed in the Retreat House of Chalice Well, called “Little St Michael”.

Geraldine tells the story of that visit;
“Going to bed at my usual time, I slept well. Yet, around 3:00 am I became restless. Although feeling very tired and resistant to becoming conscious, I gradually became aware of soft voices, then one voice became distinct from the rest. I opened my eyes to see the late Major Tudor Pole (the Christian mystic who founded the Chalice Well), standing in the room.

He addressed me as “Daughter to the Well”. The message was clear. I was to leave England to go to Australia and “when the time was right”, I would be led to a well holding water with unique properties.

Further guidance from meditations and dreams confirmed this. After arriving in Australia a series of three dreams occurred in which I saw the property I was to find.”

“Leaving behind all they knew, they trusted in guidance to take them on an extraordinary journey to Australia – to ‘Grail Haven’, a lush tropical rainforest sanctuary on Tamborine Mountain.”
