After
spending nearly eighteen months with Tania & Fiona, Dean felt it was time to move
on & concentrate more on his songwriting as well as working with many other musicians.
The move to his
own music was the right one and soon Dean was supporting the likes of Ian Moss(Cold
Chisel),The Choirboys(Oz Rock Band),American blues artist Joe Lewis Walker, &
Dutch Tilders. Dean was also asked to be special guest at The Victorian/Tasmania
Blues, The Frankston Guitar Festival, The National Gospel Happening Festival in
Canberra & Nimbins Reggae Festival In
2002, Dean Recorded his debut CD, "Talk To Me". Tracks from the CD were played
on radio stations throughout Australia as well as receiving major airplay in Chicago(USA),
NZ, Japan and Argentina. In Sept, Dean released his second album "Songs From Everyday
Life"-a collection of solo acoustic tunes. Dean is also in a group called "Supasoul"
with good friends Hemi & Tip(more info soon). In
2006 Dean recorded "Book of Covers, volume 1". This is a varied collection of
well known tracks on which Dean puts his own original spin. A second volume is
likely to follow during 2007 as well as a much anticipated follow up to his well
received CD of original songs. Watch
out for Dean Haitani: this exceptionally talented performer will inspire you to
be the best you can be-apart from that, you'll love his music!
